Super Twister

What is Super Twister?

To all of those I met at the handful of conferences I attended before Covid-19 sent everything to digital, and all of those I met over email or Zoom since, it was a pleasure to meet you. I hope we get the chance to meet again when all of this is over, and you can reach me at any of my contact details listed at the bottom if you want to catch up in the meantime.

I’m still not 100% sure what I’ll be doing next, but I suspect it will still be in the gambling industry. This has been my life for more than a decade, and it’s an industry I continue to love and appreciate. No matter if I continue to write about it or throw myself back into an operations setting, it will always be apart of who I am. If you still want to be in touch, you can connect with me on LinkedIn, or you can follow me on Twitter if you to know whatever tangent I’ve gone off on next.

What is Super Twister?

The arguments came as Scotts Valley asked US District Judge Trevor McFadden to issue a preliminary injunction blocking Interior’s July 30 decision. The outcome of the dispute directly threatens the tribe’s much larger ambition for the site: a proposed $700 million casino resort and hotel.

Under IGRA, gaming is generally prohibited on land taken into trust after 1988 unless it qualifies under specific exceptions. Scotts Valley claims its Vallejo property falls under the “restored lands” exception for federally recognized tribes.

While Interior agreed that Scotts Valley met requirements regarding its modern ties to the area and the timing of the acquisition, the department ultimately concluded the tribe failed to demonstrate a sufficiently significant historical connection to the land.

About Super Twister

For an experienced slots reader, that’s the “so what.” A game with several distinct bonus paths that a player can still read at a glance.

Play’n GO’s own framing points to the commercial logic behind the choice. “The Coin carries the game. It pays on the spot, it locks into Hold & Spin, it builds multipliers in Bonus Spins. Operators get a game players read quickly, and GO Ultra changes what the wheel can land,” said Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO.

The observation about readability is the strategic point. Feature-dense slots can overwhelm newer players, and a shared trigger reduces the number of mechanics a player must track before understanding how the game rewards them.
